The Charger and the materials.

We find this as an object of extreme usefullness, as it can provide enough energy for a cell phone charger, or even a small laptop, specially when there is some sort of power shortage in the area you live in.

We expect to learn a lot with this project and event, and we will dedicate all our efforts to complete the power charger successfully.

In the next 3 weeks, we will be building the solar power charger, and will keep you updated, by posting pictures of our progress as we move on.

Who are we ?

We are a group of Portuguese students from Leiria, who are currently working in a Project for a school subject known as "Área De Projecto", in which we intend to develop an universal solar power charger.

With this project, we will participate in a European Event called "Let The Sun Shine", in which several groups of students will present their projects, related to solar energy.

Thanks to a electronic company, our project has been financed by this company in 100%, in all materials and tools. The company is called Leiritrónica. http://www.leiritronica.pt/
